Annona reticulata, bullock’s heart (A. reticulata 2), is a small tree, up to 10 m tall, with alternate simple leaves and yellowish-green pendulous flowers, native in the West Indies. The heart-shaped fruits (A. reticulata 2) resemble a heart in shape and colour. The flesh is more solid than in other Annona-species.
